Infrared sauna is a more effective way to detoxify your body, compared to the traditional sauna. In an infra red sauna, temperature is around 50 degrees Celsius, therefore you can sit for 30 – 40 minutes at a time. After 20min you start to sweat heavily. At this point your sweat contains approximately 20% toxins. Compared to traditional sauna, where you sit for 5-10min at temperature of 100 degrees Celsius and the sweat is actually more from the humidity in the room – at this point the sweat will contain less than 5% toxins.
Infra red sauna is better for people with heart problems, because it is easier on the heart at lower temperatures.
